Another tight battle between the two youthful teams. Cooper took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 5th, but Fawcett’s bats finally came alive plating 4 in the bottom of the inning. Fawcett wins 4-1 in 6 innings.
Tkatch wins 11-1 in a game featuring many great defensive plays by both teams.
Fawcett jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first, and was down in the 2nd before Ellenberger busted it open. Fawcett 5 inning rally fell short. Ellenberger wins 14-7.
Ellenberger wins 21-3. They jumped out to an early lead and just continued to add on not allowing Fawcett to battle back.
Thursday May 19 - Dobich @ Fawcett:
Dobich jumps out to a big lead early behind Butch’s huge 2 HR 10 RBI effort nd wins comfortably 16-1
Friday May 20 - Ellenberger @ Tkatch:
High scoring game, tons of offense early on including a bases loaded homerun by the plumbers that kept the score close but Farmers offense produced runs that led to a victory. Final Farmers 14 Plumbers 9.
Tuesday May 10 - Dobich @ Tkatch:
Baden 47 jumps to big lead with five runs in each of the first three innings. That 15 run deficit, even though the Farmers offense was producing runs was just too much to over come. Total in 6 innings: 22-13
Wednesday May 4 - Ellenberger @ Dobich:
Plumbers jump out to early lead and stout defense from both teams keeps score consistent until last at bat when Fire Department offense comes alive resulting in a thrilling, down-to-the wire 8-8 tie.
Thursday May 5 - Tkatch @ Ellenberger:
Team Farmers bat's exploded for an early commanding lead just to be silent late in the game. That allowed a strong late inning rally by the Plumber's to win the game 10-8.
Friday May 6 - Cooper @ Fawcett:
Tight one. Cooper prevails 1-0 on a run in T1. Fawcett got runner to 3rd in B3, B5, and B6 but like the Buccos couldn’t get the timely hit!
